Terms and Conditions for Bookings

 

• All Bookings are confirmed once a deposit has been paid. The balance can be paid before or on the day to a staff member or entertainer. This is a non refundable deposit should you cancel less than 14 days prior to the event you will loose all the deposit. If you cancel the booking more than 14 days before you will receive 50% back via a cheque or another form of payment.
• All prices quoted reflect the detail given at the time of booking, however if you change the time or location please be aware a change in fee could take effect. The balance of the booking will need to be paid in cash prior to the staff attending and starting their appearance. Please provide in an envelope. All parties and events booked will need to be confirmed via email to ensure all details are correct and a confirmation and acceptance email or letter sent.
• All our staff will be treated with respect on the day. The hirer will ensure that there is a clean and private changing facility at the venue of event, to allow Cartoon Creations performers to change and store any equipment and belongings.  After 20-30 min each member of staff inside a mascot will require a 10 min break to get a drink of water to avoid over-heating at a convenient time during the visit.
• Please do not let older children or teenagers ‘harass’ the mascots! This spoils it for the younger ones and also can be dangerous and damage the mascots! Also please ensure children are not allowed to throw drinks or get paint/ice creams near the costumes as cleaning them is an expensive job! All of our mascots & costumes are lookalike tribute & Fancy dress costumes.
• Safe and easily accessible loading areas must be made available for Cartoon Creations and its equipment and personnel as the mascots, Entertainers and other equipment can be big and bulky!  Free parking must also be available for all vehicles used by Cartoon Creations.  If any costs are incurred on the day of event, these costs must be cover by the hirer.
• If any accidents occur during the event or if for any reason Cartoon Creations cannot perform, Cartoon Creations reserve the right to leave the event and shall not be held responsible and no legal actions against Cartoon Creations shall be carried out. 
• If during the event the booking duration exceeds the booked time, then there shall be a surcharge of £40 per half hour, and the overall extra charge must be paid to Cartoon Creations in full before they leave the event.  If this extra charge of monies is not received, Cartoon Creations is entitled to legal actions, and reserve the right to pack up all equipment and property and leave the event without any abuse or hassle from the hirer or his/her guests.
• Cartoon Creations has the ability to terminate any agreements of this contract and the booking at any time, if the hirer breaches any of the Terms & Conditions stated in this contract.  If the contract termination is during the event, the hirer is still required to pay the full overall charge agreed at the time of booking.
• The hirer is solely responsible for any costs arising from any act, omission, neglect, injury, damage or loss caused by him/herself or any of his/her family, guests, attendees or service-providers to Cartoon Creations or any person, persons or equipment their-of.
• Cartoon Creations reserves the right to change or vary the Terms & Conditions of this agreement at any time as a result of any new legislation, statutory instrument, government or in-house regulations or licenses and to make amendments to the standard Terms & Conditions of the said agreement.
• In the rare occasion where any injuries to staff or a fault with equipment or vehicles may have occurred, Cartoon Creations has the right to remove any services from your package without prior notice. However, Cartoon Creations reserve the right to offer any discount at our discretion.  If such matters occur prior to the date of event, Cartoon Creations will attempt to make alternative arrangements or communicate any issues with the hirer at the earliest opportunity. 
• The hire of Cartoon Creations means that Cartoon Creations must be in the building of the event by the hirers requested time. 
• The hirer is responsible for ensuring that Cartoon Creations have full and appropriate access to the venue at least one hour prior to start time, if required.

 

Payment of the deposit is confirmation that our Terms and Conditions

have been read and agreed.
